Have you ever read the Proverb that reminds us about a foolish woman? That she tears down her home with her own hands?
Have you ever been there? Ripping, tearing, doing demo on the hearts in your home? And then the guilt when you realize what’s happening. Ugh.
“Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.” Proverbs 3:15
There is a place we can go to stop the train wreck that is us some days. Into the Word. Into the Spirit. Into a place far better than anything we are managing.
Galatians. Ephesians. Philippians. Colossians. Four little letters in the New Testament that impacted my life over and over, from the days of being a new believer to now when I need a quick refresh.
“So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.” Galatians 5:16
Yes. That’s it. And then this: “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” Galatians 5:22-23
Wisdom. More precious than rubies. Filling our lives with love. Joy. Peace. And all the rest, so that we become a new kind of woman. A woman building her house, beautifully and well.
Praying for God to fill you with His Holy Spirit abundantly today. Praying for you to be filled with His treasures of wisdom as you build today.
